John D. (Jr.) Jenkins

John D. Jenkins, Jr., 86, of Eugene, Missouri passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Jefferson City Manor in Jefferson City, Missouri.  He was born March 18, 1939 in Moweaqua, Illinois the son of the late John D. Jenkins, Sr. and Ethel I. (Adcock).  On June 20, 1967 in Garden Grove, California he was united in marriage to Karen (Knox) Jenkins who preceded him in death on May 26, 2019.

Survivors include,

Children, Dale Jenkins (Kirsten) of Eldon, MO; Kenneth Jenkins (Linda) of Wichita Falls, TX; David Jenkins of Jefferson City, MO; Don Jenkins (Dorothy) of Buckley, WA; Robert Jenkins (Crystal) of FL; Steve Jenkins (Danielle) of Orange, CA

Eighteen Grandchildren, several Great-Grandchildren

Siblings, Arthur D. Jenkins (Marilyn) of Eugene, MO; Paul D. Jenkins of Eldon, MO

Along with his parents and wife, one son, Christian Fairbanks, and three sisters, Carolyn Accordino, Jane Klinker and Mary Holmes preceded him in death.

John was a member of the Eugene Christian Church of Eugene, MO.

Per his wishes, his body has been cremated and services will be planned at a later date with inurnment at Spring Garden Cemetery in Eugene, MO.

Memorials in his name are suggested to Eugene Christian Church.
