Joan (Hinds) Hees

Joan Hees, 87, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Jefferson City Manor in Jefferson City, Missouri.  She was born November 28, 1933 in Etterville, Missouri the daughter of the late Roy P. and Esther Lillian (Miller) Hinds.  On September 6, 1952 in Eldon, Missouri she was united in marriage to Jack R. Hees who preceded her in death on August 18, 2004.

Survivors include,

Daughter, Jackie Holzbierlien (Bill) of Jefferson City, MO

Son, Daniel Irl Hees (Heather) of Mountain View, AR

Nine Grandchildren & Six Great Grandchildren

Two Sisters in law & Two Brothers in law

Several Nieces & Nephews

Three Sisters preceded her in death.

Joan was a faithful member of the Aurora Springs Baptist Church of Eldon, MO.  With a true servants heart, Joan spent hours in daily prayer and Bible study.    She was employed with Mercantile Bank of Eldon for thirty years until her retirement.  She was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking and was known for her homemade noodles.  She dearly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, December 11, 2020 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the Aurora Springs Baptist Church with the Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 PM with Tim Smith officiating.  Private Family Burial will be held at the Eldon City Cemetery at a later date. 

Memorials in her name are suggested to the Aurora Springs Baptist Church or the Lee House of Eldon, MO.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
