Jo Ann Vaughan, 75 of Rocky Mount, Missouri passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 at her home in Rocky Mount, Missouri. She was born December 4, 1948 in Meta, Missouri the daughter of the late Robert and Theresa (Massman) Brasier. On September 24, 1966 in Dixon, Missouri she was united in marriage to Ralph “Bud” Vaughan who preceded her in death on November 24, 2009.

Two sisters, Dorothy Azevedo and an infant sister, and two brothers-in-law preceded her in death.
Jo Ann put her faith in Jesus Christ at a young age and attended the Baptist church in Iberia, MO. Along with being a wife, mother and a homemaker she was employed for ten years with Dixon Shoe Factory and then for Cargill Turkey Processing Plant retiring in 2011 after thirty-one years. She loved to sew making quilts and making anything else someone wanted made. She created many things to donate to under privileged children in foreign countries. Jo Ann volunteered helping with Friday night dinners at AMVETS Post 108 in Rocky Mount, MO. She enjoyed antiquing and thrift store shopping with family and friends along with traveling when the opportunity arose.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at New Life Assembly of God Church in Barnett, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM with Pastor J. D. Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow at West Fairview Cemetery in Dixon, MO.
