Jimmy Linhardt, Sr Obituary

Jimmy William Linhardt, Sr, 76, of California, MO passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 at his home. He was born in Syracuse, MO on November 3, 1938, son of Arthur F. and Elizabeth P. (Buschhorn) Linhardt. Jim was a 1956 graduate of Bunceton High School and worked as a carpenter all of his life. He enjoyed working with wood and repairing things. His children considered him a jack of all trades. He was quite proud of his garden and landscaping as all could see as they drove by his home. He was married to Phyllis Evelyn Schull on December 16, 1967.

Jim is survived by one son, Jimmy Linhardt, Jr. and wife Kate of Shenzhen Guangdong, China, one Daughter Evelyn Sue Jobe and husband Scott of California, MO, one sister Doris Evanoski and husband Tony of Wooldridge, MO, four grand-children Addison Jobe and Madelyn Jobe, Angelic Linhardt and Coy Linhardt. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and one son Arthur Linhardt.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 25, 2015 at the California United Church of Christ with visitation from 10:00 until service time also at the church.

Burial will be in the California City Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the California United Church of Christ or the American Cancer Society.
