Jerry D. Wood, 50 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023 near Eldon due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born July 28, 1972 in Tuscumbia, Missouri the son of Don W. and Rosemary (Rogers) Wood.
Along with his parents, other survivors include,
Brothers, Scott Wood (Emilie) of Fairplay, CO; Tim Wood on Camden Point, MO; Aaron Wood of Platte City, MO
Nieces & Nephews, Ashley, Evan, Parker and Hannah
Jerry attended Camdenton Bible Baptist Church of Camdenton, MO. He enjoyed singing and making music. He loved making personalized tapes and CD’s for all his family members. Jerry was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Boston Celtic fan. He was artistic and inspiring. He loved his family and had a special bond with his nieces and nephews. Jerry was a kind soul, a beacon of light.
Visitation will be Friday, July 14, 2023 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tim Day officiating. Burial will follow at Tol Wood Cemetery near Eldon, MO.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in his name are suggested In Care of the Family.
