Jeannie (Reed) Montavy

Jeannie Montavy, 73, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles, Missouri.  She was born April 11, 1946 in Las Vegas, Nevada the daughter of the late Kenneth and Velma (Conner) Reed.  On June 30, 1962 she was united in marriage to Raymond Montavy, Sr. who preceded her in death on November 1, 2019.

Survivors include,

Children, Pamela Campbell (James W.) of Eldon, MO; Sue E. Cowell (Gary)of Versailles, MO; Raymond Leroy Montavy, Jr. (Mary) of Olean, MO; Richard Montavy (Angela) of Eldon, MO; Kendall Montavy (Karla) of Eldon, MO

Seventeen Grandchildren; Twenty-seven Great Grandchildren & Eight Great Great Grandchildren

Two brothers, Jessie James Ryan and William Richard Croff preceded her in death.

Jeannie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eldon, MO serving as Sunday school teacher.  She was employed with Fasco Industries of Eldon until her retirement and then began working for the Eldon School Systems.

Celebration of Life will be Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.  Per her wishes, her body has been cremated and Private Interment will be held at a later date at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, MO.

Memorials in her name are suggested In Care of the Family.
