Jeanie (Purnell) Busch

Jeanie (Purnell) Busch, 51 of Rocky Mount, Missouri passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 21, 2024 in Brownsville, TX.  She was born July 10, 1973 in Jefferson City, Missouri the daughter of Donnie and Trudy (Terwilliger) Purnell Hunt.  On May 4, 1995 in Las Vegas, NV she was united in marriage to Leland “Buster” Busch who survives of the home.

Two Grandsons, Casen and Crew Harman

Mother, Trudy and Rick Hunt of Eldon, MO

Sister, Kris Busch Purnell (Richard) of Jefferson City, MO

Grandparents, Evelyn Terwilliger of Osage Beach, MO; Dorris Green of Eldon, MO

Along with half-sisters and one half-brother

Nephew, Caleb Busch of Jefferson City, MO

Jeanie was employed with Lake Pet Hospital for twenty-three years where she loved her job.  She lovingly cared for all animals as each was special to her and her co-workers were her second family.  Jeanie loved the Kansas City Chiefs football, the beach and 80’s music, but her greatest love was her family and especially her grandchildren.

Her father, and grandparents, Dallas Terwilliger, James Green and Joe Purnell preceded her in death.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with a Celebration of Life beginning at 3:00 PM with Jerry Nash officiating.  Private Family Interment will be held at a later date.

Memorials in her name are suggested to a college fund for her grandchildren or Friends of Animals.
