Jason Dean Lacy, 50 of Eldon, Missouri passed away April 1, 2024 at his home with his wife by his side holding his hand.  Jason was born April 13, 1973 in Kansas City to Dale and Linda (Collins) Cady.  On December 21, 2019 Jason married his soulmate and the love of his life Jane (Groth) Lacy near Rocky Mount, Missouri.

Jason’s favorite name to be called was “Papa” and he wore that name proudly as he was his grandchildren’s favorite person.  He truly enjoyed giving all grandkids rides on the tractor, and lawnmower, going camping, playing games, and proudly learned and could sing every song on Coco-melon, and Miss Rachel.  Jason loved to go camping, weekends in his boat with Jane on the lake, fishing and singing Karaoke on Friday nights.

Jason is survived by his wife Jane, sons: Buddy Tucker (Alexandra), Jay Tucker (Katie), Brian Van Pett, Cody Tucker (Halie Gier), daughters, Jessie Eaton (Kenneth), Rene Zettler, Becky Van Pett (Nicole), grandchildren, Justin, Gracie, Buddy, Jr., Serenity, Ava, Kenneth, Adela, Keeli, Rosanna, Mathew, Rayella, Marilynn and Delilah. His mother, Linda Cady, sister, Marla Humphrey (Chuck), brother, Travis Cady, very close friend, Terry Scott, nephews, Nicholas, Mathew, and Chris and his niece, Hayley.  Many aunts, uncles, cousins, great nephews and nieces.

His father, Dale and step-father Alden Cady, aunt JoAnn and his grandparents preceded him death.
