James “Jim” A. Cash III, 70 passed on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his family in Eldon, Missouri. He was born January 23, 1956 in Jonesboro, Arkansas the son of the late “JA” James A. Cash II and Ruth Ann (Swanson) Cash. On June 10, 1978 he was united in marriage to Donna Jean (Williams) who survives of the home.

Numerous Nieces and Nephews
His parents, daughter-in-law, Loral Cash, great-granddaughter, Holly, brother, Rodney Long, sister, Ruth (Long) Bolden, mother-in-law, Nancy Williams, sisters-in-law, Diane, Debbie and Merrie and numerous nieces and nephews preceded him in death.
Jim was a 1975 graduate of Branson High School, and received a degree in auto body from Tri-County Tech School in 1978. He was employed by Modine Manufacturing Company retiring after 40 years of service. Jim also served as a volunteer firefighter for the Eldon Fire Department for many years. He was a member of the Eldon Jaycees in the 1980’s and was involved in youth sports by coaching various sports teams. He was a dedicated member of the Hickory Hill Masonic Lodge #211.
He was a member of the Oak Street Church of Christ of Eldon, MO.
Jim enjoyed cheering on his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, motorcycle rider and loved traveling with his beautiful wife.
Visitation will be Friday June 12, 2026 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with a Memorial Service beginning at 4:00 PM with Minister Bill Ferguson officiating.
Memorials in his name are suggested to the City of Eldon Youth Sports League.
