James Douglas (Doug) Yeakle

James Douglas (Doug) Yeakle, 58 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 at his home.  He was born September 3, 1963 in Marion, Indiana, son of the late Merrill and Iris (Rinehart) Yeakle.  At 1 year old they moved to Toledo, Ohio and in 1974 settled in Stover, Missouri.  On Thanksgiving 1991 he was united in marriage to Julie (Fischer) Evers Yeakle of the home.

Children, Aaron (Jennill) Evers of Eldon, MO; Jason Yeakle of Kansas City, MO; Patricia (Adam)Wickham of Columbia, MO; Pamela (Brian) Davis of St. Louis, MO;  Melissa Yeakle of MS; Seth (Beth) Evers of Eldon, MO

Siblings, Sue Iliff of Stover, MO; Jack Rinehart of Stover, MO; Gary Yeakle of Kansas City, MO

Sixteen Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild

A daughter, Sarah Yeakle, a son, Nicholas Evers, a granddaughter, Riley Evers, and a brother, David Rinehart preceded him in death.

Doug was employed by Fasco Industries for 28 years.  He was partner and then owner of area apartments for 22 years.  He was a member of the Eldon Fire Department as a captain and was a licensed EMT with the Miller County Ambulance District. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with Funeral Services beginning at 3:00 PM.  Burial will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.

Memorials in his name are suggested In Care of the Family.
