James G. Poole

James G. Poole, 60, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, November 7, 2025 at his residence in Eldon, Missouri.  He was born July 17, 1965 in Sedalia, Missouri the son of Jim Earl Poole and Beverlie V. (Hart) Polly.

Survivors include,

Sons, Jessie James Poole of Eugene, MO; Jimmie Glenn Poole of Columbia, MO

Grandson, Jacoby James Poole and Mother Brandi Gaddy

Mother, Beverlie Polly (Darrell Jr.) of Eldon, MO

Father, Jim Poole (Karen) of Denton, TX

Several Aunts, Uncles and Friends

James loved fishing and hunting.  He enjoyed racing derby cares in his younger days and had several trophy’s.  He enjoyed Baling hay and driving his tractors, of course he had two of them.

James was employed for twenty years with FASCO Industries and then with Adient for the last ten years.  He was a mechanic in his teen years.  The last twenty years he raised cattle on his farm.  James did his own hay baling.  In the last few years, he was able to buy two Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed riding them to Arkansas and the Missouri hills and winding roads.

Special thanks to his step-dad Darrell Jr. for stepping up the last two years with taking care of James.

Memorials in his name are suggested to the Goldschmidt Cancer Center of Jefferson City, MO.

Memorial Visitation will be Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.  Private Interment will be held at Versailles Cemetery at a later date. 

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
