James “Jim” Koetting, 80, of Henley, Missouri went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Miller County Nursing & Rehab. in Tuscumbia, Missouri. He was born April 30, 1939 in Mary’s Home, Missouri the son of the late Lawrence and Hilda (Rehagen) Koetting. On June 18, 1960 in Mary’s Home, Missouri he was united in marriage to Martha (Kempker) Koetting who survives of the home.

Jim was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church of Mary’s Home, MO. He was also a former member of Alcoholics Anonymous with forty-six years of sobriety. He enjoyed farming and was employed as a truck driver with A.B.P in Jefferson City, MO for twenty years and a school bus driver at Cole R-5 Eugene Schools for nineteen years. He retired to care for his farm.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 15, 2019 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM with a Rosary prayed at 4:00 PM at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church of Mary’s Home, MO. Funeral Mass will be Monday, September 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church with Msgr. Robert A. Kurwicki officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery.
