James Green Obituary

Jim Green, 87, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Eldon Nursing & Rehab in Eldon, Missouri. He was born June 26, 1931 in Grants, New Mexico the son of the late William H. and Sarah (Adkins) Green. On November 6, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri he was united in marriage to Dorris (Phillips) Green who survives of the home.

Son, James Howard Green of Eldon, MO

Sisters, Vada May (Robert) of Nixa, MO; Karen Smith of West Plains, MO

Five Grandchildren; Fifteen Great Grandchildren & Two Great Great Grandchildren

Several Nieces & Nephews

Two sons, David Edward Green & Donnie Joe Purnell, and three sisters, Laurel Witt, Veda Nelson & Marie Green preceded him in death.

Jim served in the United States Navy during the Korean War as a helmsman with the Beachmaster Unit.

Per his wishes, his body has been cremated and a private family interment will be held at the Eldon City Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials in his name are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
