James "Jim" DeMartini

James “Jim” DeMartini, 81, of Rocky Mount, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.  He was born May 31, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of the late Frank and Agnes (O-Rourke) DeMartini.  On August 20, 1966 in University City, Missouri he was united in marriage to Vickie (Filla) DeMartini who survives of the home.

Three Sons, Brent DeMartini of Ballwin, MO; Jeff DeMartini of Valley Park, MO; Kent DeMartini (Dana) of Valley Park, MO

Two Grandchildren, Ben DeMartini of Valley Park, MO; Maci DeMartini of Valley Park, MO

Two Great-Grandchildren, Jax DeMartini of Valley Park, MO; Ameila DeMartini of Valley Park, MO

Brother, Don “Demo” DeMartini of St. Charles, MO

And Numerous Nieces & Nephews

Along with his parents, a sister, Judy Connelly and a brother, Jerry DeMartini preceded him in death.

“Jim” was an active member of the Eldon Golf Course serving as President and board member for many years. Also a member of the Elks Lodge of Osage Beach, MO and the AMVETS Post #108 in Rocky Mount, MO. He was very active as an umpire and a coach with local baseball teams.  He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, St. Louis Cardinals fan, Mizzou Football fan and one heck of a golfer.

A Celebration of Life is being planned at a later date.

Memorials in his name are suggested to the Disabled American Veterans and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
