Irene (Shilharvey) Koerner

Irene Koerner, 89, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 at Arrowhead Senior Living Center in Osage Beach, Missouri.  She was born December 31, 1929 in Troy, Missouri the daughter of the late Frank and May (Kadlec) Shilharvey.  On September 9, 1950 in Troy, Missouri she was united in marriage to Robert Otto Koerner who preceded her in death on July 15, 2019.

Survivors include,

Children, Beverly Barry (Wayne) of Barnett, MO; William Koerner (Melissa) of Gravois Mills, MO; Donna Ryan (Larry) of Eldon, MO; Sandra Miller (Jim) of Eldon, MO

Grandchildren, Chad, Shawn & Scott Barry; Stephanie Chapman; Erik & Michael Miller; Billy Koerner & Nicole Miracle

Eleven Great Grandchildren

Along with her parents and husband, two brothers, Eugene & Kenneth Shilharvey preceded her in death.

Irene was employed as a beautician at Famous and Barr in St. Louis, MO and then owned her own shop on the farm in Barnett, MO.  After moving to Bentonville AR for fourteen years, Irene was employed in the Walmart Warehouse Pharmacy Dept. and then retired to Forsyth, MO.  She was a member of Our Lady of the Ozarks Catholic Church of Forsyth, MO, Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, MO and the Prairie Grove Club.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 8:30 AM – 10:15 AM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. with the Funeral Mass beginning at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, MO with Rev. Alex Gabriel officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, MO.

Memorials in her name are suggested for Mass Cards or to the Donor’s Choice.
