Howard Hibdon

Howard Hibdon, 81 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at his home.  He was born February 16, 1942 in Eldon, Missouri the son of the late Frank “Buster” T. and Ellen Irene (Kelsey) Hibdon.

Survivors include,

Sons, Frank J. Hibdon of Tuscumbia, MO; Brian Hibdon of Eldon, MO

Siblings, Sarah Breckon of Jefferson City, MO; Frances Burk of Eugene, OR; Marilyn Margiotta (Bart) of Lake Ozark, MO

Sister-in-law, “Cookie” Hibdon of Eldon, MO

Including many wonderful nephews and nieces, and longtime girlfriend, Carolyn Fenton of Springfield, MO

Preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Bill Hibdon, and two brothers-in law, Buddy Breckon and Ron Burk.

Howard passed away Saturday morning while tinkering with his tractor.  He graduated from Eldon High School in 1959, after working through the COE program for two years at the Eldon Rexall Drugstore.  He served in the United States Army.  He was employed for many years in the Construction field in MO and OK.  He retired after working many years for Mike’s Dozing in Osage Beach, MO.  He enjoyed his time with friends at the local coffee shops each day.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Dooley Cemetery with Brother Bob Hoskins officiating. 

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in his name are suggested to Dooley Cemetery.
