Helen (Roark) Bacon

Helen Bacon, 96, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Miller County Nursing Home in Tuscumbia, Missouri.  She was born February 8, 1924 in Miller County, Missouri the daughter of the late Ralph and Vera (Snodgrass) Roark.  On April 11, 1945 in Jefferson City, Missouri she was united in marriage to Kenneth R. Bacon who preceded her in death on July 14, 1995.

Survivors include,

Daughter & Son in law, Myrna & Steve Wyrick of Eldon, MO

Grandson, Adam Wyrick (Julie) of Jefferson City, MO

Sister, Carol Procter of Olathe, KS

Numerous Nieces & Nephews

Helen was employed with Reed’s Department Store, Ruth’s Young Fashions and Forget Me Not Floral Design.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eldon, MO.

Visitation will be Monday, March 2, 2020 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM.  Burial will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the Miller County Nursing Home Alzheimer’s Unit or the Alzheimer’s Association.
