Glenda Jane Hardin, 87, of Columbia, Missouri passed away Monday, April 7, 2025 at her residence in Columbia, Missouri. She was born July 6, 1937 in Eugene, Missouri the daughter of the late James Edward Gray and Rayma Jane (Spalding) Gray Henley. In 1958, she married Charles D. Hardin, the father of her three children, and they were married for 24 years.

Three Children, David Hardin (Renee Hollowell) of Eugene, MO; Curtis Hardin of Hallsville, MO; Rita (Hardin) Thompson (Kevin) of Monroe City, MO
Four Grandchildren, Ashley Morrison, Kyle Thompson, Jackson Thompson and Zoee Sommer
Three Great-Grandchildren, Shannon Akery (Tony), Jamie Hager, Alex Hager
Sister-in-law, Sharon Gray
Nieces, Christie Albert (Doug), Sally Wright (Jodie)
Two brothers, Jack Gray and Doug Gray preceded her in death.
Glenda attended Eugene Christian Church of Eugene, MO at a young age and then moved to Hallsville and attended Red Top Christian Church. Glenda was a high school business teacher for two years at Hallsville High School, and then began her career in the real estate business for 55 years and for many years was owner/operator of Hardin Realty. She eventually went to work as managing broker and as a salesperson trainer for many years and was still active as a broker-associate with Iron Gate Real Estate in Columbia, MO.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at Spring Garden Cemetery in Eugene, MO.
Memorials in her name are suggested to Spring Garden Cemetery.
