Gerold Sanning

Gerold Sanning, 78 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at SSM St. Mary’s Health Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.  He was born November 19, 1941 in Mary’s Home, Missouri the son of the late John and Lucy (Roark) Sanning.

Survivors include,

His Siblings, Elizabeth Evers (Bernard) of Eldon, MO; Ann Kirkweg of Eldon, MO; John Sanning of Jefferson City, MO; Sam Sanning (Crystal) of Eldon, MO

Numerous Nieces & Nephews

Two sisters, Wilma Evers & Ella Mae Sanning and a brother in law, Norbert Kirkweg  preceded him in death.

Gerold was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved country music.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 9:00 AM – 10:45 AM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO followed by Graveside Services at 11:00 AM at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, MO with Rev.  Callistus C. Okoroji officiating.

Due to current health risks at this time, the family requests all that attend to please wear a face mask.  

Memorials for Gerold are requested for Masses at the church in his name.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
