Gerald "Jerry" Wayne Leslie

Gerald “Jerry” Wayne Leslie, 80 of Russellville, Missouri passed away Friday, May 19, 2023 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.  He was born October 25, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of the late Lansford Clay and Bonnie Faye (Bond) Leslie.  On January 1, 1977 he was united in marriage to Jo Ann (Russell) Leslie who survives.

Grandchildren, Adam Leslie (Megan), Ashton Kidwell (Austin), Whitney Parker, Aaron Leslie (April), Tristin Long, Ryan Schwab (Brandi), Logan Morris, Jadyn Morris, Kenadee Leslie, Holden Leslie, McKinley Leslie, Madalyn Leslie, Beckett Leslie & Ryker Leslie

Great Grandchildren, Quentin Griffin, Vincent Leslie, Kayden Thomas, Hesston Mattern, Louis Leslie, Emberlyn Schwab & Rayna Schwab

Sister-in-law, Carol Jerene Russell

Along with his parents, 3 infant siblings, Janice Kay, Robert Lee & Mary L. preceded him in death.

Gerald was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  He loved gardening, model trains, fishing and camping but his greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning 12:00 PM with Brother Bob Hoskins officiating and Full Military Honors to follow at the funeral home.  Burial will be private for the family.

Memorials in his name are suggested In Care of the Family.
