George Bishop Wren, III, 82 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Rock Island Village in Eldon, Missouri. He was born November 19, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of the late George Bishop Wren, II and Teresa Marie (Stoerman).
Survivors include,
Three Brothers, Fred Wren of Houston, TX; Michael Wren (Lee) of Fairfield, VA; William Wren (Janice) of Texas
Four Nephews and Two Nieces

George served his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1956 – 1962. He was a radio operator on a P2V. He was very proud to serve his country. George lived in many places throughout his lifetime. Eventually finding the Lake of the Ozarks, his home and favorite place to be. George was very involved in saving the Alaskan Pipeline and played a role in the Cuban missile crisis.
George had many hobbies, loading ammunition, spelunking, painting, making arrowheads and he was a Civil War enthusiast. He also enjoyed reading, diving for treasure but most of all George loved his country.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the AMVETS of Rocky Mount, MO.
Memorials in his name are suggested to the AMVETS of Rocky Mount, MO.
