Francis "Butch" Henderson

Francis “Butch” Henderson, 80, of Barnett, Missouri passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.  He was born December 18, 1943 in Winfield, Kansas the son of the late Frank M. and Margaret (Dyer) Henderson.  On March 6, 1964 in Winfield, Kansas he was united in marriage to Mary (Swoyer) Henderson who survives of the home.

Children, Jennifer L. Martin (Clint) of Kansas City, MO; Jeffrey Henderson (Kris) of Liberty, MO; John Henderson (Leslie) of Liberty, MO; Jill Stegman (Kevin) of Kearney, MO

Grandchildren, Evan Martin; Abbey Putnam, Audrey Setter, Bobbie Gimson; Erin Henderson; Cory Henderson; Jacob Lawson and Katie Comley

Fifteen Great Grandchildren

Along with his parents, his in-laws, Andrew and Audrey Swoyer preceded him in death.

Butch was a member of the First Christian Church of Eldon, MO.    Butch was employed with and retired from AT&T as a service manager.  He retired again from Platte County Board of Services as the Maintenance Facilitator when moving to the Lake of the Ozarks. After getting tired of all the honey-do's, he became a produce clerk for Gerbes until 2022.  Butch lived in six different states and made many friends in many places.  He never met a stranger, always had a fresh joke to tell, and held his family together with lots of laughter.

Per his wishes, his body has been cremated and a Celebration of Life is being planned at a later date.
