Evelyn Jewell (Wilson) Ford

Evelyn Jewell (Wilson) Ford, 93, of Cheyenne, Wyoming formerly of Versailles, Missouri passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at her residence in Cheyenne.  She was born July 11, 1928 in Jefferson City, Missouri the daughter of the late Effie Phillips.  On December 28, 1946 she was united in marriage to Bert R. Ford who preceded her.

Survivors include,

Children, Terri L. Ford of Amarillo, TX; Bert R. Ford, Jr. of Douglas, WY; Penny A. Mills of Florence, MO; Janie E. Sales of Springfield, MO

Ten Grandchildren, Fifteen Great Grandchildren, Two Great Great Grandchildren

Her husband, Bert R. Ford, a daughter, Deborah Moore, and a son, Marshall Ford preceded her in death.

Evelyn attended Element Church of Cheyenne, WY and First Christian Church of Versailles, MO.  She was a homemaker and loved to sew, read, shop, paint, visit with friends and family, and plant and take care of flowers.  She adored her cat, Willow and loved to give gifts. 

Funeral Service will be on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Visitation before the service from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM with Minister Jim Randal officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, MO. 

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
