Ernie Shawn Jones

Ernie Shawn Jones, 59 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Lake Regional Health Systems in Osage Beach, Missouri.  He was born July 4, 1964 in Tuscumbia, Missouri the son of the late Jack Lee and Shirley (Tannehill) Jones.

Survivors include,

Two Daughters, one in which passed away.

Brother, David Jones (Linda) of Jefferson City, MO

Sister, Kemmy Lee of Leesburg, FL

Several Nieces & Nephews

Ernie was a young man when he accepted Christ into his life.  He loved to watch classic western movies, Star Trek and listen to rock and roll music.  Ernie was dearly loved by his family and friends.

Per his wishes, his body has been cremated.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Eldon Nursing and Rehab in Eldon, MO.  Private Family Interment will be held at New Hope Cemetery in Kaiser, MO where he will be laid to rest next to his mother.

Memorials in his name are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
