Erma Charlene (Hees) Connell Halsey

Erma Charlene Connell Halsey, 85 of Barnett, Missouri passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at her residence in Barnett, Missouri.  She was born February 18, 1938 in Morgan County, Missouri the daughter of the late Marshall Raymond and Gladys Mae (Wolley) Hees.  On November 6, 1997 in Miami, Oklahoma she was united in marriage to Paul Samual Halsey who survives.

Children, Marshall David Connell (Lily) of Rocky Mount, MO; Kathy Connell (Mike Russell) of California, MO; James Connell (Vanja) of Camdenton, MO; Cindra Satterfield (Mark) of Camdenton, MO; Nina Jaegers (John) of Olean, MO; John Connell (Jamie Iler) of Jefferson City, MO

Twenty Grandchildren & Thirty-three Great Grandchildren

A son, Joe Bradford Connell, a brother, David Olden Hees and two grandchildren, Joseph Stanley & Crystal Booth preceded her in death.

Erma attended Fellowship Bible Church in Eldon, MO.  She was employed at the Eldon Nursing & Miller County Nursing for several years before retiring.

Per her wishes her body has been cremated and laid to rest at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, MO. 

Services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM at New Revival Center 106 S. Hunter St. Versailles, MO 65084 with Pastor Joe Lietzke officiating and burial at Greenmore Memorial Gardens.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in her name are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
