Emma Jean (Duncan) Vernon Brumley

Emma Jean Vernon Brumley, 84, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 at her home in Eldon, Missouri.  She was born July 14, 1934 in Brumley, Missouri the daughter of the late Press and Sarah (Workman) Duncan.  On June 6, 1953 she was united in marriage to Jack Leroy Vernon who preceded her on November 9, 1991, she then married her second husband, Junior Brumley on August 6, 1994 and he preceded her on October 9, 2008.

Daughter, Robin White (Jackie) of Eldon, MO

Five Grandchildren, Misty Wood (Tim), Dustin Vernon (Becca), Jackie White III (Tammy), Jesse White (Coco), & Ryan Vernon (Caitlyn) & Seven Great Grandchildren

Brothers, Oliver “Bud” Duncan (Donna) of Kansas City, MO; Robert Duncan (Lois) of Eldon, MO; James “Jed” Duncan of Barnett, MO; Parnell Duncan (Patricia) of California, MO; Darrell Duncan of Eldon, MO

Brother in law, Dave Vernon of Eldon, MO

Sisters in law, JoAnn Duncan of Eldon, MO; Joyce Duncan of Barnett, MO; Wanda Vernon of Eldon, MO

Three brothers, Gary Duncan, Donald Duncan & Larry Duncan, and a sister, Mildred Clark preceded her in death.

Emma was a member of Aurora Springs Baptist Church of Eldon, MO.  She was employed with the Lodge of the Four Seasons for over thirty years.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.  Funeral Service will be Monday, May 20, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Aurora Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, MO.

Memorials in her name are suggested to Aurora Springs Baptist Church or Greenmore Memorial Gardens.
