Ella Mae (McClanahan) Gibbs, 87 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Eldon Nursing and Rehab in Eldon, Missouri. She was born May 28, 1934 in Festus, Missouri the daughter of the late Orville McClanahan and Freda (Wienberry) McClanahan Krietler. On September 17, 1955 in Festus, Missouri she was united in marriage to Glenn E. Gibbs who preceded her in death on April 13, 2000.

Her children, Bruce Gibbs (Becky) of Eldon, MO; Lisa Prater (Don) of Eldon, MO
Grandchildren, Brice Prater (Lindsey); Sara McNail (Justin); Joe Prater, Christopher Gibbs, Elizabeth Gibbs (David); Abby Vaughan (Tony) all of Eldon, MO
Six Great Grandchildren
Sister, Ruth Ann Fallert (John) of St. Genevieve, MO
Along with her husband, parents, and step father, Ignatius Krietler, a son, Mark Edward Gibbs, two brothers, Roger McClanahan & Leroy McClanahan and a twin sister, Alta Marie McClanahan preceded her in death.
Ella Mae was former owner/operator of Redwoods Resort in Rocky Mount, MO and was employed with Walmart of Eldon, MO for over ten years until her retirement. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, MO.
A Private Family Service and Interment will be planned at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
