Dorothy Mary (Schulte) Doerhoff

Dorothy Mary (Schulte) Doerhoff, 89 of Henley, Missouri passed away Friday, December 12, 2025 at SSM St. Mary’s Health Center in Jefferson City, Missouri surrounded by her children.  She was born May 29, 1936 in Jefferson City, Missouri the daughter of the late Lorence and Clara (Mertens) Schulte.  On April 18, 1959 in Jefferson City, Missouri she was united in marriage to Alfred A. Doerhoff who preceded her in death on May 16, 2006.  The two shared 47 years of marriage working side by side on their farm raising their family.

She is survived by her children, Juliana Henley (Darrell) of Eugene; Lynette Otto (Keith) of St. Anthony;and Allen Doerhoff (Joan) of Henley. 

Grandchildren, Miranda Henley (Dave Moss); Hanna Henley; Parker Henley (Christy); Loren Otto (Kaylie); Preston Otto (Rachel); Austin Doerhoff; Madelyn Doerhoff; and Henry Doerhoff

Great-Grandchildren, Norman Henley; Charlotte Henley; Hudson Moss; Charli Mae Otto

Brothers, George Schulte (Susie) of Jefferson City; Edward Schulte (Judy) of Westphalia; Brother-in-law, Elmer Bax of Jefferson City; Sister-in-law, Linda Schulte of Jefferson City.

Along with her parents and husband, a sister, Pauline Bax and brother, Richard Schulte preceded her in death.

Dorothy was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church where she was very active all of her life and faithfully served as a Eucharistic minister.  Dorothy dearly loved her family and always kept a close watch on them.   She treasured family gatherings with large meals and was certain to make sure all of her grandchildren knew how to make the perfect pancakes.  She was also an accomplished seamstress.  Her family was her greatest blessing.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Mary’s Home, MO with the Funeral Mass beginning at 11:30 AM with Rev. Simon J. Kanyike officiating.  Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery.

Memorials in her name are suggested to Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church of Mary’s Home, MO.
