Dorothy Clenin Obituary
Dorothy May Clenin, 83, Passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Moniteau Care Center in California, MO.
She was born January 7, 1931 in Waynesville Township, IL daughter of Taplia and Marie (Berkley) Renfrow who preceded her in death.
Dorothy was a homemaker most of her life raising 7 children. In later years she worked at Economy Insurance Company in Illinois. In 1994 she moved to Missouri where she was assistant to the Public Administrator of Moniteau County. She retired in 2002.
Survivors include sons, Sam Clenin and wife Belinda of Latham, MO, Randy Clenin of California, MO, daughters, Helen Clenin Winsor and husband Leonard of Lincoln, IL, Anna Clapp of Lawndale, IL, and sister Marion Thompson of Atlanta, IL. 31 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren and her special dog Peaches. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons Bill, Robert and John, Brothers Leon, Jay and Junior Renfrow and sisters Helen Hayes and Lucy Boyer and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 10:00 am at the Phillips Funeral Home, California, MO with visitation from 9:00 until service time.
