Donnie E. Curty

Donnie E. Curty, 70, of Eugene, Missouri passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 at SSM St. Mary’s Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.  He was born January 13, 1952 in Tuscumbia, Missouri the son of the late Lee Nelson and Myrtle Christine (Frank) Curty.  On August 15, 1981 in Dixon, Missouri he was united in marriage to Cindy (Martin) Curty who survives of the home.

Sister, Glenda Robinett (Jerry) of Jefferson City, MO

Sister-in-law, Jo Ann Martin of Lake St. Louis, MO

Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, & Friends

His in-laws, Clarence and Grace Martin, and a brother-in-law, Dennis Martin preceded him in death.

Donnie was employed with ABB for twenty-seven years.  He was a member of the Ninth Street Christian Church of Eldon, MO and also the U.A.W. Union.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was an avid Chief’s and Mizzou fan.  Donnie was a lifelong farmer of Miller County.  He was a kind soul and never knew a stranger.  He was always willing to help anyone in need.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Phillips funeral Home of Eldon, MO.  Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Ninth Street Christian Church of Eldon, MO with Minister Chris Reynolds officiating.  Burial will follow at Spring Garden Cemetery.
