Donna Sue (Koerner) Ryan

Donna Sue Ryan, 66, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was born February 2, 1954 in Jefferson City, Missouri the daughter of the late Robert Otto and Irene (Shilharvey) Koerner.  On December 30, 2000 in Ocho Rios, Jamaica she was united in marriage to Larry J. Ryan who survives of the home.

Daughters, Stephanie Chapman (Mike) of Eldon, MO; Kari Oster (Mark) of Osage Beach, MO; Marianne Holtz (Kent) of Ulman, MO; Angie Jackson of Hannibal, MO

Six Grandchildren, Luke, Makenna, Ryan, Kael & Ryan Moore & Marah Stotler

Sisters, Beverly Barry (Wayne) of Barnett, MO; Sandra Miller (Jim) of Eldon, MO

Brother, William Koerner (Melissa) of Gravois Mills, MO

Donna was a 1972 graduate of Eldon High School.  She was a member of the Prairie Grove Club.  She started her career as a legal secretary in the law firm industry.  She was then elected treasurer for Miller County, Missouri and then spent many years in the insurance industry.  In her later years, Donna was an immense part of Larry’s Lakeside Auto Repair in Osage Beach, MO.  She was a talented artist and enjoyed fishing, traveling and working in her flower garden.  Donna had many friends in several states and she loved hosting her holiday parties with family.  She was truly loved by all. 

Per her family’s wishes, In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice in Donna’s name.

In consideration of the world situation at this time, a Celebration of Donna’s Life will be planned at a later date.
