Donald L. Shepherd, 80, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Jefferson City Manor in Jefferson City, Missouri. He was born March 25, 1941 in Reddings, California the son of the late Edwin Lee and Ruby Mae (Robinett) Shepherd.
Survivors include,
Daughter, Pamela Cooper of Eldon, MO
Granddaughters, Harmony Wall of Eldon, MO; Kathrine Maples (Gregory) of Eldon, MO
Great Grandchildren, Tucker and Chayce Maples
His parents, Edwin & Ruby Shepherd, a brother, Michael Shepherd, and a daughter, Patricia A. Shepherd-Lodge preceded him in death.
Don was employed as an Economics Professor at the University of Oklahoma, also a chef with Lodge of the Four Seasons and was employed with the State of Missouri. He was owner/operator of the Cree-Mee Drive In of Eldon, MO. Don was a lifelong musician who loved bluegrass music and was a master of many instruments.
Per his wishes, his body has been cremated and services are planned for a later date with burial at the Eldon City Cemetery.
