Donald Harris Obituary

Donald L. Harris, 72, of Tuscumbia, Missouri passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at his residence in Tuscumbia, Missouri.  He was born April 14, 1947 in Calhoun County, Illinois the son of the late Albert A. and Mazie Marion (Zettler) Harris.  On April 26, 1967 in Quincy, Illinois he was united in marriage to Ruby (Miller) Harris who survives of the home.

Other survivors include,

Children, Donald Mark Harris (Brooke) of Tuscumbia, MO; Janis K. Bays (James) of Tuscumbia, MO; Anthony “Tony” Wayne Harris (Blair) of Ulman, MO

Thirteen Grandchildren, Aaron, Andrew, Allison, Aidan, Seth, Trenton, Aspen, Michealyn, Christopher, Terra, Miles, Brianna & Baylee

Great Granddaughter, Mazie

Brother, Arthur Harris of Iberia, MO & sister, Lorraine Johnson of Pueblo, CO

Five brothers, Albert, Henry, Richard, George, and Oscar Harris, four sisters, Aileen Autrey, Audrey Webster, Virginia Heusted & Mazie Vogel preceded him in death.

Donald was raised in the Catholic faith.  He was owner/operator of D&D Home Improvement for thirty-two years before retiring.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, including mushroom hunting.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at the family residence for family and friends.

Private Family Interment will be held at a later date.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorials in his name are suggested In Care of the Family.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
