Dolores “Del” Jane (Conner) Kirkpatrick, 83, of Osage Beach; formerly of Eldon, passed from this life into the arms of her Savior, Jesus, on Monday, July 7, 2025.
Del was born May 14, 1942, to Truman and Lillian Conner, in Eldon, MO. She was a graduate of Eldon High School. Del worked in the Insurance and Nursing Home Industry. She was an exceptional seamstress and made and altered many outfits for numerous people in and around the community.
Del was one of the founding matriarchs of Bible Way Church of Eldon and a spiritual mother to many. Del was also served as the secretary of Bible Way Church of Eldon for several years until her health would not allow it any longer.
Del is survived by her son, Mark (Margie) Howser of Olean, brother Steve Conner of Eldon, grandchildren Nicholas Flippin, Brittnay Strohm, Brandon and Kirsten Proctor, Raylee Jo Flippin, special niece Stephanie Opie of Iowa, very special friends Connie Horton, Jan Bradley, Judy Witt-Holmes, and Lisa Hoffman.
Del was preceded in death by her husband Don Howser; son, Jason Flippin; and a sister, Janice Taylor.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 1:30 pm for a time of fond remembrance and fellowship at Bible Way Church of Eldon. Internment will be at a later date.
A special thank you to the staff for the wonderful care that they gave to Del while she was at Stonebridge Nursing Facility in Osage Beach. Their care and dedication made Del feel most special.
