Dee was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Eldon, MO and in recent years attended Ninth Street Christian Church of Eldon, MO.  She was employed for seventeen years with Sprint-United Telephone Company where she received many sales awards and made many great friends.  After her retirement from the phone company she worked for the Eldon Chamber of Commerce for five years.  Dee always enjoyed assisting and being a part of the annual Eldon Turkey Festival.  She was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother.  Through the years of raising her children, she served as room mother in their classrooms and often chaperoned their high school band trips.  She was always involved in her children and grandchildren's school activities and cheered on more than just her own.  In her later years she enjoyed staying connected to family and friends through facebook and you could count on her for leaving an encouraging comment on any facebook post she scrolled across.   The past year Dee enjoyed playing bingo and visiting with her new friends at Rock Island Village assisted living.    Her greatest love was to spend time with her family.

A Private Family Interment at the Eldon City Cemetery will be held at a later date.  A Celebration of Dee’s Life is being planned also at a later date.  In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in her name are suggested In Care of the Family.
