Della Fern (Williams) Hood, 84, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Miller County Nursing and Rehab in Tuscumbia, Missouri. She was born January 7, 1941 in Miller County, Missouri the daughter of the late Gail and Ruth (Amos) Williams. On June 21, 1996 she was united in marriage to Howard Hood who survives of the home.

Children, Judy Schwaller (Gerald) of Eldon, MO; Lorrie Grisham (John) of Eldon, MO; Jeremiah Hood & Fiancé Aimee Gittemeier of St. Charles, MO
Five Grandchildren, Christopher (Mackenzie), Hattie, Benjamin, Holden & Jericho
One Great-Grandson on the way
Sister-in-law, Berniece Adcock of Eldon, MO
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Adcock, second husband, Jim Fry, two sons, Ronald & Donald Adcock, two brothers-in-law, Bill Adcock and Rue Adcock, and sister-in-laws, Darlene Adcock and Ruth Russell.
Della graduated from Eldon High School in 1959, working and living her whole life in the Eldon Community. She was a member of the Ninth Street Christian Church, where for many years she volunteered her time and efforts. Della’s greatest joy came from being with her family and supporting her grandchildren in their music, academic, school and FFA activities.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Ninth Street Christian Church of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Chris Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.
