David “Doc” Dockins, 73 of Russellville, Missouri passed away Monday, January 27, 2025 at his home. He was born November 11, 1951 in Yakima, Washington the son of the late Remmel and Ruby (Day) Dockins. On May 20, 1971 in Salem, Missouri he was united in marriage to Karen (Stephens) Dockins who survives of the home.

Daughters, Nicole Patterson (Adam); Andrea Dockins (fiancé Scott Craig)
Sister, Brenda Neel
Grandchildren, Trenten Patterson (Abby), Drew Dockins, Tyler Patterson & Addison Dockins
Great-Grandchildren, Jase & Jaxen Patterson
Along with his parents, two sisters, Lanna Heckethorn & Marsha Uchtman preceded him in death.
“Doc” was a conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad for over forty years. He served in the National Guard for six years. He loved his farm and working cattle and was a bronco rider, loved watching rodeos and was an avid hunter. His greatest love was sharing time and making memories with his family.
Memorials in his name are suggested to the Goldschmidt Cancer Center in Jefferson City, MO.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at McClung Park indoor pavilion 931 McClung Park Dr. Jefferson City, MO 65101.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
