Danny Lyle Abbott

Danny Lyle Abbott, 79, of Barnett, Missouri passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.  He was born April 23, 1945 the son of the late Richard and Pauline (Shepard) Abbott.  In December of 1965 he was united in marriage to Betty Sue (Howser) Abbott who survives of the home.

Daughter, Shannan Abbott of Barnett, MO

Brother, Bill Abbott (Sue) of Eldon, MO

Sister, Catherine Herndon (Cliff) of Bauxite, AR

Grandchildren, Austin Abbott, Trevor Abbott, Jordan Abbott, Tyler Seibert, Koby Seibert & Dylan Seibert

Great-Grandchildren, Koltynn Abbott, Carter Brake, Braly Brake, Adalynn Abbott & Harper Seibert

Along with his parents, a brother, Richard Abbott preceded him in death.

Danny was employed with the railroad, and was an avid knife collector.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with Military Honors presented following the service. 

Memorials in his name are suggested In Care of the Family.
