Dale Witzman Obituary

Dale Witzman, 72, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 at Harry S. Truman Veteran’s Memorial Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He was born June 28, 1947 in Atlantic, Iowa the son of the late Merritt Harold and Kathryn (Mewhirter) Witzman. On June 15, 1973 he was united in marriage to Edna (Reinier) Witzman who preceded him in death on December 19, 2018.

Survivors include,

Lisa (Adam) Juckette and their three children, Lincoln, Eden & Cosmo of Des Moines, IA

Todd (Tamara) Witzman and their four children, Tate, Danica, Lauren Imler & MaKenna Imler of Eldon, MO

Amie (Nathan) Gieseke and their three children, Oliver, Oakley & Arlo of Mineral Point, WI

A brother, David Witzman preceded him in death.

Dale graduated from Atlantic High School. He served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corp. Dale was a farmer most of his life. He greatly loved taking care of his land, riding horses and was an accomplished livestock showman.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 starting at 11:00 AM with a Time of Remembrance at 2:00 PM all at the Community Center in Atlantic, IA. Burial will be Monday, November 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel, IA.

Local arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
