Dale “Mike” Abbott, 75, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Harry S. Truman VA Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He was born February 11, 1949 in Tuscumbia, Missouri the son of the late Earcy Lynn and Bonnie Ilene (Wilson) Abbott. On November 13, 1966 in Eldon, Missouri he was united in marriage to Sharon (Cooper) Abbott who survives of the home.

Dale served in the United States Army during Vietnam as a cook and then later was employed with Fasco Industries as a materials manager. He was a member of Ninth Street Christian Church of Eldon, MO. He enjoyed all of his animals especially his cats and any animals that showed up at his door. He enjoyed Bluegrass and Gospel music and hanging out with all his buddies at McDonald’s. His greatest love was spending time and making memories with his family.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Ninth Street Christian Church of Eldon, MO with a Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Chris Reynolds officiating. Burial with Full Military Honors will be on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in his name are suggested to the Show-Me Youth Christian Home.
