Cynthia Renee (Smith) Zell

Cynthia Renee (Smith) Zell, 70 of Eldon, Missouri passed away April 14, 2026 at SSM St. Mary’s Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.  She was born November 8, 1955 in Norwalk, California the daughter of Fletcher Smith and Eleanor Potter.

Cynthia is survived by her mother, Eleanor Bartliff, long-term partner, Gerald Kaiser, two children, Marcus Smith of Barnett, MO and Tishawna Smith of Seattle, WA; three grandchildren, Austin Tyler Edgar of Lake Ozark, MO, Makayla Smith of Lake Ozark, MO, and Makenzie Smith of Lake Ozark, MO, great-grandson, Rowan Edgar of Lake Ozark, MO.

Along with her father, a sister, Susan Utterback preceded her in 2000 and a brother, Levi Smith preceded her in 2024.

Cynthia really enjoyed cooking, fishing with her granddaughters, frequenting thrift shops and yard sales.  She was playful and loved life.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
