Curtis Sanders

Curtis Sanders, 84, of Tipton, Missouri passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.  He was born January 29, 1938 in Eldon, Missouri the son of the late Rube Sanders and Vernie (Woods) Sanders Robinett.  On July 27, 2019 in Tipton, Missouri he was united in marriage to Mary (Innes) Sanders who survives of the home.

Step Children, Charles Dodson (Cindy) of Sedalia, MO; Ben Zimmerman of Kansas City, MO; Matthew Zimmerman of Fortuna, MO

Seven Grandchildren & Fifteen Great Grandchildren

Sister, Nina Polly (Larry) of Kansas City, MO

A sister, Shirley Wirts, and a son-in-law, George preceded him in death.

Curtis was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Church of Tipton, MO.  He was a lifelong truck driver for forty-three years before his retirement.  He was an avid fisherman and coon hunter.

Visitation will be Monday, May 9, 2022 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bill Foglesong officiating.  Burial will follow at Tol Wood Cemetery. 

Memorials in his name are suggested to Tol Wood Cemetery.
