Connie Jo (DeGraffenreid) Thorson

Connie Jo Thorson, 63, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, March 28, 2025 at Lake Regional Health Systems in Osage Beach, Missouri.  She was born to the late Norman and Evelyn Joann (Carrender) DeGraffenreid on June 22, 1961.  On December 29, 2012 in Eldon, Missouri she was united in marriage to Michael Thorson; he survives.

Brothers, Rick DeGraffenreid (Joan) of Eldon, MO; Michael DeGraffenreid of Eldon, MO; Travis DeGraffenreid of Eldon, MO

Sister, Lisa Papen of California, MO

Her parents preceded her in death.

As the owner of Backstreet Auction and former proprietor of DAT’s Entertainment, Connie had a passion for antiques, karaoke and country music.  Her interests included her dogs, Lacy Mae and Bentley James, as well as traveling, visiting beaches, gardening, and flower care.  Connie was deeply committed to her community and willing to help those in need.  Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM.  Burial will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.

Memorials in her name are suggested In Care of the Family.
