Colleen Irene (Moore) Farwell

Colleen Irene (Moore) Farwell, 63, of Columbia, Missouri passed away Monday, October 6, 2025 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.  She was born October 3, 1962 in Hamburg, Iowa the daughter of Danny and Peggy (Vanstone) Garst.

Survivors include,

Her loving daughters, Amanda Fischer and Rachel Smith, whom she shared with Allen Farwell, and her youngest daughter, Nicole Willibrand.  The sons she never had: Phillip Fischer (son-in-law) and Chris Fischer.

Her beautiful grandchildren: Jace Smith and Jaxton Sapp, DeAunna Henderson, DeMari Henderson, DeMayia Henderson, DeAdrea Henderson, and Nora Fischer, along with Ava Smith who preceded her in death.

Her sweet great-grandchild: Violet Smith

Her father, Danny Garst

Siblings, Cheryl Kelsay and Kathy Deitchler; Rick Moore, Mike Hankins, and Randy Doolittle.

Along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews

Her mother, Peggy (Vanstone) Garst preceded her in death.

Always known for her kindness and deep compassion, Colleen was a friend indeed to all she came in contact with.   Her beautiful smile radiated the spirit of love for her family, and her greatest joy was spending time with them making memories.

Per her wishes, her body has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in her name are suggested In Care of the Family.
