Charles Porter

Charles Porter, 68, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Lake Regional Health Systems in Osage Beach, Missouri.  He was born September 28, 1950 in Miller County, Missouri, the son of the late Dan Edward and Ethel Mae (King) Porter. 

Survivors include,

Daughter, Carla Smith (Rodger) of Cole Camp, MO

Step Children, Pauley “Chuck” Palmer of Blue Springs, MO; Nancy Lowery (Shawn) of Benton, MO; Dale Klug (Niki) of Waco, TX

Siblings, Bill Porter (Karen) of Eldon, MO; Roy Porter (Sheila) of Eldon, MO; Donald Porter (Ginger) of Eldon, MO; Lena Porter of Eldon, MO.

Grandsons, Elijah & Isaiah Smith of Cole Camp, MO

Many Step Grandchildren & Step Great Grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who adored him. 

Charlie was employed as an auto mechanic for most of his life.

A sister, Ida Polly, and one brother, Daniel Porter preceded him in death. 

Visitation will be Friday, March 8, 2019 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM with Rev. Lonnie Simpson officiating.  Burial will follow at Dooley Cemetery near Eldon, MO.

Memorials in his name are suggested In Care of the Family.
