Carl "Melvin" Vaughan

Carl “Melvin” Vaughan, 87, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Monday, June 3, 2024 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.  He was born November 18, 1936 the son of the late Garland and Alice (Murrey) Vaughan.  On March 15, 1954 in Tuscumbia, Missouri he was united in marriage to Eva (Mathews) Vaughan who survives of the home.

Other survivors include,

Daughter, Kathy Porter (Randy) of Eldon, MO

Son, Donald Vaughan (Virginia) of Eldon, MO

Four Grandchildren, Eight Great-Grandchildren and Two Great-Great-Grandchildren

Brother, Roy Vaughan of Bartlesville, OK

Along with his parents, a sister, Rosallee Jeffries preceded him in death.

Carl attended the Family Worship Center in Versailles, MO.  He was a member of the Laborer’s Union, retiring in 1998 and receiving a lifetime pin.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Danny Owsley officiating.  Burial will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.

Memorials in his name are suggested to the Family Worship Center of Versailles, MO.
