Bill Stone Obituary

Bill Stone, 89 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, at his residence in Eldon, Missouri. He was born at home on December 16, 1934 in Tuscumbia, Missouri the son of the late W.E. and Mart (Brumley) Stone. On September 4, 1965 in Reno, Nevada he was united in marriage to Jerri (Anglin) Stone who survives of the home.

Along with his parents, three brothers, Carl, Gerald, Sr. and James Stone, one sister, Betty Wise, and two brothers-in-law, Larry Cain and Mike Whittle preceded him in death.

Bill was a member of the Army National Guard, the Carpenter’s Union in California, and the Teamsters.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in his name are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the Building Fund for Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, MO.
