Bernard F. Koetting, 82, of Henley, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Oak Tree Villas in Jefferson City, Missouri. He was born December 20, 1940 in Mary’s Home, Missouri the son of the late Lawrence and Hilda (Rehagen) Koetting. On October 14, 1968 in Meta, Missouri he was united in marriage to Margaret (Renneke) Koetting who survives of the home.

Sisters in law, JoAnn Koetting, Martha Koetting, Carolyn Koetting, Mary Rustemeyer, Dolores Renneke, Clara Jean Huff, Alice DeMoss (Larry), Sally Schepers
Brothers in law, James & David Renneke, and several nieces & nephews
Along with his parents, brothers, Wayne, Jim, Kenny, & Thomas Koetting, and brothers in laws, Walter Lepper, Victor Renneke & David Schepers, and sisters in laws, Sophie Koetting & Linda Renneke preceded him in death.
Bernard was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus in Mary’s Home, MO. He proudly served in the United States Army. He was employed as a carpenter and enjoyed farming most all of his life. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. One of his favorite quotes was, “Hey boys time to get back to work.”
Visitation will be Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church of Mary’s Home, MO with a Prayer Service beginning at 4:00 PM. Additional Visitation will be Monday, August 7, 2023 from 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Funeral Mass beginning at 10:00 AM at the church with Rev. Alex Ekka officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery with Full Military Honors presented.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in his name are suggested to Our Lady of the Snows Catholic School or Cemetery.
