Barbara E. (Crane) Carico Tipton

Barbara E. (Crane) Carico Tipton, 85 of Brumley, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023 at her residence in Brumley, Missouri.  She was born April 11, 1938 in Tuscumbia, Missouri the daughter of the late Oval and Ethel (Davenport) Crane.  On October 11, 1958 she was united in marriage to George “Bob “Carico who preceded her in death on October 9, 1969.  She then wed Edgar E. Tipton on August 9, 1986 and he preceded her on April 5, 2005.

Survivors include,

Son, John W. Carico of Brumley, MO

Daughter, Bobbie Hawk (Rusty) of Eldon, MO

Step Daughters, Carolyn Brown (Danny) of Stover, MO; Sheila Porter of Eldon, MO

Four Grandchildren, Ryan Stafford, Travere Hawk, Tyler Hawk & Jr. Carico

Son-in-law, Craig Stafford

A daughter, Rose Stafford, a step-son-in-law, Roy Porter, and three siblings, Fred Crane, Nina Ruth Berendzen & Gene Crane preceded her in death. 

Barbara was a member of the Ulman Baptist Church of Ulman, MO.  She enjoyed fishing, gardening, canning, bingo and spending time with her family.

Visitation will be Monday, August 7, 2023 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Ulman Baptist Church of Ulman, MO with Pastor David Visser officiating.

Burial will follow at Gott Cemetery.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in her name are suggested In Care of the Family.
