Barb (Libbert) Wood

Barb Wood, 76, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, May 9, 2025 at her residence in Eldon, Missouri.  She was born May 3, 1949 in Jefferson City, Missouri the daughter of the late Raymond John and Allene (Woodland) Libbert.  On September 6, 1969 in St. Martins, Missouri she was united in marriage to Phillip Wood who survives of the home.

Son, Jay Wood (Joy) of Eldon, MO; Shannon Wood (Natashia) of Eldon, MO

Eight Grandchildren and Eight Great-Grandchildren

Brothers, Terry Libbert (Marsha) of St. Martins, MO; Daryl Libbert (Christie) of Centertown, MO; Marlin Libbert (Sonja) of Holt Summit, MO

Sisters, Sheila Libbert-Vickers of Broken Arrow, OK; Tina Libbert-Brewer of Union, MO 

Along with her parents, a sister, Karen Claus and a brother, Melvin Libbert preceded her in death.

Barb was a member of the Flatwoods Baptist Church.  She enjoyed planting flowers, fishing, mushroom hunting and took great pride in cooking. She loved watching wildlife from inside and outside of the house.  Her greatest love was her family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM also at Phillips Funeral Home with Pastor Earl Wood officiating.  Burial will follow at Tolwood Cemetery of Eldon, MO.
